Flutter is an open-source mobile UI framework created by Google released in May 2017. It is a software development kit used to develop applications for Android, iOS, Linux, Mac, and Windows. It provides one code base for multiple platforms. Flutter uses Dart language for development. Dart is very very similar to modern object-oriented programing languages. Use can also use the dart to build web applications. In this tutorial, we are going to explain how to install flutter on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS.

Windows install

  • Download the latest flutter stable SDK using this link (Flutter SDK)
  • Extract the zip file and install the flutter to the desired location C:\src\flutter. Don't install flutter in the directory something like C:\Program Files\
