All iPhone 14 regional models (A2649, A2881, A2882, A2884, A2883) share universal iOS IPSW firmware signed by Apple (iPhone14,7). Note hardware distinctions: US models (A2649) have NO physical SIM card tray (eSIM only) and include 5G mmWave antenna cutouts; China/Hong Kong models (A2884) feature physical dual nano-SIM trays and lack eSIM and FaceTime Audio support at hardware/firmware level.

  • Storage full bootloop (Error 1110): Attempting an iOS update when internal flash memory has 0 bytes remaining can corrupt the APFS filesystem, often requiring a destructive full restore.
  • Cable disconnection during NAND flashing: Unplugging or bumping the Lightning cable during an active IPSW write can corrupt the bootloader and leave the phone trapped in DFU mode.
  • Hardware-induced restore failure (Error 4013): Corrosion or physical damage to the top sensor / ear speaker flex assembly will cause Apple security checks to fail during restore and abort the flash.
  • Flashing unsigned firmware: Apple only signs the latest versions of iOS; attempting to downgrade to an unsigned IPSW will fail TSS server signature verification and halt the restore.
