What the AI Text Cleaner removes

• Markdown symbols: **bold**, *italic*, # headings, `inline code`, > quotes, --- dividers and ~~strikethrough~~.
• Links: [label](url) becomes just the label, or the label followed by the URL.
• Tables: pipe tables become tab-separated rows, so they paste neatly into a spreadsheet.
• Hidden characters: zero-width spaces, soft hyphens and non-breaking spaces.
• Messy spacing: double spaces, trailing spaces and long runs of blank lines.

Lists are kept as lists. You choose whether bullets become dashes, bullet points or nothing, and numbered lists keep their numbers. Code blocks keep their content exactly, only the ``` fences go.

How to use it

1. Copy the answer from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another chatbot.
2. Paste it into the Your text box. The clean version appears straight away.
3. Change the options if you want straight quotes, plain dashes or no emoji.
4. Click Copy clean text and paste it wherever you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does text copied from ChatGPT have asterisks and hashes?

Chatbots such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini write their answers in Markdown, a formatting syntax where **text** means bold and # starts a heading. The chat window turns that into formatting, but when you copy the answer (especially with the copy button) you often get the raw symbols. Pasted into an email, a form or a plain-text field, they show up as stray asterisks and hashes.

Is my text uploaded anywhere?

No. The cleaner runs entirely in your browser. The text you paste is never sent to Samprix or anyone else, and it is not saved when you close the page.

Will it change the words themselves?

No. It only removes formatting symbols and invisible characters, and optionally straightens quotes, replaces dashes or removes emoji. The wording stays exactly as it was. Code blocks are kept as they are.

What are hidden characters?

Characters you can’t see, such as zero-width spaces and non-breaking spaces. They can end up in copied text and cause odd line breaks, failed searches or broken formatting when you paste. The cleaner removes zero-width characters and turns unusual spaces into normal ones.

Does removing formatting make text undetectable as AI-written?

No. This tool only tidies formatting. It does not rewrite text, and it is not designed or able to hide how text was produced.
